Match the deal to the counsel
Every transaction has a shape: jurisdiction, sector, counterparty, regulator, timeline. We know which lawyers have closed that specific kind of deal, and we bring them in rather than learning on your matter.
Delphine Legal matches transactions with the counsel they actually need, and runs the legal work so you can stay on the business.
Every transaction has a shape: jurisdiction, sector, counterparty, regulator, timeline. We know which lawyers have closed that specific kind of deal, and we bring them in rather than learning on your matter.
Scope, budget, workstreams, and deadlines run through one point of contact. We hold the specialists to the schedule and to the commercial objective, and you get decisions to make rather than a stack of memos to read.
No one takes money from whoever offers it first. You pick investors for what they bring past the check: the sector knowledge, the introductions, the experience of having sat through this exact problem before.
Legal counsel works the same way, and almost nobody treats it that way. The lawyer who drafted your operating agreement is not automatically the lawyer for a cross-border carve-out with a regulatory condition. Getting that match right changes the price, the timeline, and what you are still arguing about a year after closing.
Building and maintaining that network is the work. Knowing who to call, and knowing when not to call them, is what we are actually selling.
Michael Ni is the managing partner of Delphine Legal. A New York-admitted attorney, he has advised companies, founders, and investors on corporate and cross-border transactions since 2003.
His practice spans mergers and acquisitions, capital markets and securities, and finance. He began his career at leading international law firms, including Hogan Lovells and Clifford Chance, working on complex corporate transactions and government affairs matters.
That background is the reason the network works. Two decades of transactions is two decades of knowing which lawyers deliver under pressure and which ones bill through it.

What the deal is, what could break it, and which parts genuinely need a specialist.
The right counsel for each workstream, with the budget and the division of labor agreed before anyone starts drafting.
One point of contact holding the schedule, the scope, and the commercial objective across every workstream.
Signed documents, a clean record, and the post-closing obligations written down somewhere your team will actually find them.
"The name Delphine honors Delphine Bradt, one of the first women pilots in 1911. Courage, technical ambition, and the willingness to move early into difficult fields. That spirit guides this firm."
